I’ve always been passionate about art && design, but photography is what found me. I picked up my camera and haven’t stopped clicking since. I love capturing LOVE. Be it newborns, family, or couples – I’m honored to be the one chosen to preserve these moments.

It is SUCH an important decision to choose a photographer that fits your personal style. While I love images where everyone is looking and smiling into the camera, I LOVE the unrehearsed, candid shots that I capture of the ‘in-between’ moments. Ones showing you being YOU. {♥}

I am a modern lifestyle photographer with a slightly photojournalistic aesthetic.

This isn’t going to be your traditional portrait session. While I absolutely feel that they have their place, I strongly believe that each shoot should be FUN, if not a little bit silly. You have invested a lot of thought, time and money into this moment. Not only will I be behind the camera taking your pictures, but I’ll be here guiding you along the way. Your job is to just relax && enjoy the experience. This is about YOU.

As for me, my Detroit roots are solid. I was born in Detroit. I’ve always lived in the suburbs of Detroit. I received a full academic scholarship and attended Wayne State University in Detroit where I received my finance degree. I now work in the heart of Detroit at the RenCen in Corporate America. Both my home and studio are in Birmingham, and like a true Michigander, my favorite place to be is up north at my family’s cabin on Starvation Lake in Mancelona. I even drive a Jeep Commander.

I love that photography is both my passion && creative outlet, as I’m stimulated daily by my very left-brained career. I love to TRAVEL, which was why I originally purchased my beloved DSLR that started it all. I wanted to document my OWN moments and preserve my OWN memories. I love a good glass of wine as much as I love a cold beer. I love both the SUN and SNOW. You can find me boating or lounging by the lake with a good book in the summer. In the winter, I’m either snowmobiling or snowboarding. I can’t imagine not having all four seasons. I love bonfires under starry nights. I love a night out on the town full of good conversations with great FRIENDS. I also love a low key Saturday night at home on the couch with take-out and a movie with the one I LOVE. I love living in the moment, alas, I can’t help but plan for the future. Finally, I love being a Gemini. It gives me an excuse for my dual personalities.
